In the early days of 2017, two very important articles were published by the New York Times and the Washington Post. The Times reported that President Obama, during his last week in office, changed the rules regarding the sharing of classified information in the intelligence agencies. Obama’s change allowed for a greater number of people able to share information and who they could share it with. This “sharing” gave Obama holdovers in the permanent government all the tools they needed to sabotage the incoming Trump Administration, which they did and continued to do.
In 2012, the IRS delayed granting 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) status to hundreds of conservative Tea Party groups. These groups were hamstrung by the IRS placing inordinately burdensome documentary requirement to satisfy a request that was routine: namely granting status as a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organization. It is quite possible that Obama owes his 2012 re-election win to the underhanded actions of the IRS and Lois Lerner.
Operation Fast and Furious was a gun running operation that was operated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The badly run operation was supposed to serve as a predicate for stricter gun control laws. Instead, it led to the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans and an American border patrol agent.
