More than half of voters continue to see American society as fair and decent and that newcomers to this country should adopt American culture.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters think that, when people move to America from other parts of the world, they should adopt America’s culture, language and heritage. That’s down just slightly from 66% in August 2017,  but is the lowest overall finding to date. This number has been on the decline since staying in the 70s and 80s in surveys from 2006 through 2012.
